Application Procedures and Deadline
1. Submitting an Application
Applicants should submit their applications through the Online Admissions System, together with all required documents. Applicants must submit their applications online before 1 June 2024 (Non-Local Applicants) / 30 June 2024 (Local Applicants). |# Late applications will be considered on a first-come-first-serve basis until all spaces are filled; however, early submission is highly encouraged as qualified applicants may be admitted before the application deadline.
2. Admission Interview
Interview is a required part of the admissions process. Interview details will be sent to shortlisted candidates by email.
3. Offer Acceptance and Program Registration Procedures
Applicants can log on to the Online Admissions System (OAS) to check the status of their applications. In addition, applicants should look out for e-mail notifications sent from the University. Upon receipt of an offer, applicants should follow the steps advised by the Fok Ying Tung Graduate School to accept the offer.
Applicants must satisfy the EVSM Program's Requirements. Applicants whose first language is not English and whose degree or equivalent qualification was awarded by an institution where the medium of instruction was not English will also have to meet the English requirements.*
EVSM Program Requirements
For admission to the master's degree or postgraduate diploma in Environmental Science and Management (EVSM) program, applicants should have obtained a bachelor's degree with Second class honors or higher in relevant disciplines from HKUST or a recognized institution, or an approved equivalent qualification.
