Dr. Yongjie Li, a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Environment under the supervision of Prof. Chak K. Chan, received one of the Young Scientist Poster Awards in the 12th International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) Open Science Conference -"Atmospheric Chemistry in the Anthropocene"- held in Beijing, China, September 17-21, 2012. The work authored by Yongjie Li, Berto Lee, and Chak K. Chan is entitled as "Evaluating the Degree of Oxygenation of Organic Aerosols during Foggy and Hazy Days in Hong Kong Using High-Resolution Time-of-Flight Aerosol Mass Spectrometry (HR-ToF-AMS)". This work was supported by the University Grant Council (UGC) Special Equipment Grant and the Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) of Hong Kong.
