Miss Hilda Huang, a PhD student in the Atmospheric Environmental Science program under the supervision of Prof. Jian Yu, has received the Outstanding Student Platform Award the In the International Specialty Conference organized by Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA). This specialty conference is titled "Leapfrogging Opportunities for Air Quality Improvement" and was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China, May 10-14, 2010. Hilda was the only recipient of the award in the conference.

Hilda's presentation was on "A Multi-phase Chemical Modeling Study on Secondary Organic Aerosol Formation from Toluene in Hong Kong". The authors of this paper are Hilda X. H. Huang, Simon H. S., Ip, Jian Zhen Yu.
